SCHENECTADY, NY – Junior right winger Mario Valery-Trabucco (Montreal, QB) and freshman left winger Brian Yanovitch (Mansfield, MA) each registered a pair of goals in the Dutchmen ice hockey team’s 5-4 loss to the United States Under-18 Team on Saturday at Messa Rink.

GENEVA, NY -- Sophomore running back Chris Coney (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) rushed for a career high 243 yards and three touchdowns and senior kicker Ben Rapple (Queensbury, NY) hit a 28 yard field goal with 16.5 seconds remaining as Union downed previously undefeated Hobart, 38-35 at Boswell Field Saturday. The Dutchmen snapped a three game losing streak and improved to 2-3 overall, 1-3 in the Liberty League. The Statesmen fell to 4-1 overall and 2-1 in the league.

Ormsby leads Union to Interleague Challenge title

SCHENECTADY, NY -- Rachel Ormsby (Charlton, NY) was named the Tournament Most Valuable Player in leading the Union volleyball team to the Interleague Challenge Championship Saturday. The Dutchwomen defeated Potsdam in four games and Ithaca in three games to improve to 29-1 on the year and broke last season's school record of 28 wins. Veronica Mynders (Greenville, NY) joined Ormsby on the all tournament team, and Union now has a 15 match winning streak.

Cross Country Competitive At Westfield State Race

WESTFIELD, MA Both the men and women’s cross country team competed at 13th Annual James Early Invitational hosted by Westfield State. The women’s team missed sixth place by two points and finished seventh out of 23. The men came in at 14th out of 21.
